Free agency for players that you did not have last year begins 15 days following the completion of the "world" series. Make that the not to be seen outside of the Eastern time zone series.
I think there is a great dis service given to teams in the post season in deference to TV. Phillie will go 7 days without a game. The viewing public will go long enough to lose the fever. The games should all start a day or 2 after the second participant qualifies.
After all, TV can't even bother to televise all of the games they do have, Steve Harvey must have been ecstatic with his viewership however.
Packers looked better than expected against the colts. Maybe Rodgers was a good move, however unpopular.
Bears and Vikings can't play defence,Lions sadly remain a joke.
