Never thought I'd say this...but if Cedeno plays short today, we win the game. Wow. Horrible error in the 8th to lose the game. Theriot has to play solid D...he's never gonna be an offensive power. He has to be solid in the field or he's gonna be a sub................
Marquis looked good...especially for falling behind every hitter. If we were more patient, Cook would have, too.
Ah, well...can't win 'em all.

I was starting to think that we could actually win them all, but agree flatness ruled the day.
I'll still take the last week on the whole, and looking for a silver lining, now I can change my underwear. I think the graphic had Then Riot batting over .300 though.
My buddy Podsednik F'd things up for us.
He told me that if the Cubs turned him down he would make it up to them at some point.
Which he did today....flew to 1B for a Stolen base...plus went 3 for 5 with a 2 bagger and Run.
Hart threw Tulowitzki the perfect DP pitch, Cedeno gave Theriot an absolutely perfect feed, and Theriot flat dropped the ball. A play every big league shortstop makes 99.5% of the time. Just one of those things I suppose. Overall, you can't get too down on him though. It is nice to see Cedeno not entirely sucking. Let's also not forget that Pie played Holliday's single to lead off that inning into a double.
