just returned from rainy, gloomy, Chicago. My aunt passed away over the weekend, and I had to fly out on a moment's notice. Just my luck, the Cubs were in Cincy...stinking up that already stinky place. Enjoy Vegas, bring some money back wit cha.

Just as well. I have flown into Cincinnatti when the Cubs were there and made side visits to my grandparents when they were in Indianapolis. That, they understood, had the Cubs been there when I later came in for a family funeral, that would not have been understood.
Geez, you know sometimes familys just have messed up priorities and there is just no explaining it.
Oh yeah, todays "game" blew major chunks.

How about Brennaman's open accusation that Geo Soto is on the juice??? On the air during a broadcast? With Griff Jr. and Adam Dunn on the field as he said it? MLB and the Reds should make this guy accountable for the shit that flies out of his caker. That is all.
