Nice job by Bobby Howry. Anyone can (and has) given up a solo shot to Pujols...it was EVERYONE else that he pitched to that made the difference.

s hope the Cubs can win the division with a few weeks to play, so he can be fresh for the playoffs. Nice touch by the Cards fans giving Benji a standing ovation before his first AB. Lots of assholes in St. Louis, but quite a few class acts as well.
Why isn't Fontenot playing more? Why does Fukodome look so bad on every pitch he doesn't hit, then so good every time he makes contact? How great were the last 2 strike calls to Glaus in the 9th. He bitches...LOUDLY after a circumspect strike 2...Wood comes back and throws strike 3 to the same spot. Niether pitch was a strike on Tivo review, but when you show a guy up after a missed call, expect him to miss another.
I really hate LaRussa. He is THE DE FACTO godfather of steroids, a huge cheater, and just looks like an all around slime ball.
