Randy Wolf should be fined. 0 - 2 on Soriano and he threw a pitch in the same time zone. What was he thinking?
Cedeno needs more at bats. He was on fire there for a while. Next lefty starter we face, I'd put DeRosa in right and start Cedeno at second.
Soto is off to a great start, but needs to learn a little more patience. Swung 2 - 0 with the bases loaded, one out and a pitcher having trouble finding the strike zone. That's a take all the way. Every time. For a rookie. And most veterans. Popped out. Not a quality at bat.

Many Cub media blogs and outlets are reporting that Cruller Hendry is planning to sign known pooch molester and homo Jim Edmonds, pending his clearance of waivers, which will easily happen. This is a horrific turn of events that could not have come at a worse time. Edmonds is washed up, and hasn't hit over .265 since '05. If the Padres are dumping him for nothing, and they are the WORST TEAM IN THE MAJORS, what the heck are the Cubs even thinking about? Sure Pie hasn't lived up to the hype, but he is a solid defender who has youth and speed. Sending him back to AAA won't help. If they are so hard up to get rid of the guy, trade him for starting pitching and let Reed Johnson play there everyday. Jim Edmonds a Cub...lord almighty help me.
So what would be the difference, getting no production out of an aged centerfielder with a canine fetish, or getting no production out of a 22 something fast guy...with a good glove... who will eventually hit hard and often...I think I lost my point.
