THAT'S what I'm talking about!

Nice sweep of the DBacks. Well played. Offense came through when it needed to. Clutch homer Reed Johnson. Well pitched...except for walking in the two runs yesterday. Tight dp to end the game. Good team effort all around. Even Soriano played well in this series. Wood pitched well (gotta stop hitting people if you want to close, Kerry)

Nice effort by Gallagher -- tried to be a little too fine. Too many first pitch slow curves that didn't make it over the plate. Mix it up, kid.

It's fun to watch games when we win. It's even more fun to watch sweeps! Do you agree with shelving Big Z for a better day? I didn't until we won anyway...now I do. We'll see how he pitches on extra rest. Some guys don't do as well. Hopefully, he'll be as good as he's been.

Go Cubs!

Lou's moves were solid all day...the last thing the Cubs need was for him to swill a bunch of Dr. Pepper and go out and hurt himself yesterday. His lineup moves in the eighth were good, but were the obvious choices. Not sure Len and Bob should have lined up to blow him when things went right. I think Smitty mankes the same moves.

I also agree with holding back Z. Easy to say in hind sight, but we got away with it.
Does the above comment refer to Smittys getting in the blow Lou line, or the hold Z line? I are confused.
All I know is , if the winning keeps up, it will become a long line at Lou's (door).
