Glad that we salvaged a win in the desert. Hurray for us. The Brewers just swept the Cards. CC three hit shutout yesterday. Footsteps?
Glad that we're headed home, even if it's for a short series with the fish. Need to win this series. Have the right pitchers to do it.
Once again I call out DLee and he responds with a dinger. Therefore, I officially say "trade him if he doesn't have at least two hits tonight."

I disagree....no blockbuster trade. Unless its Soriano for someone who puts up similar offense, and can actually catch a flyball. OK, maybe Marquis for a decent lefty reliever, but I wouldn't call that a blockbuster.
This is our team. Unless we can find a dominant closer. Maybe the Angels will take Edmonds back and give us K-Rod.
I disagree back. We are a good team. But not good enough to win the World Series, which is the goal.
I disagree with your disagreeal of BM's disagreement of your call for a blockbuster deal (5 nights rental for $1 would be a start). I like our team and can't think of any sane switches (OK, Marquis for K-Rod would be nice but won't happen). The team in the rear view mirror does not have a better line up, it's just playing well. That's some thing our guys are quite capable of as well.
GM's just assemble the pieces.... blah blah blah. But I really don't see any pieces out there that are major upgrades over the pieces we have, so stand pat.
What's the difference between a blog and a rant anyway?
How about Marshall, Hill, Hoffpauir, Fontenot and Pie for Ichiro and Felix Hernandez? And I'd throw another minor of leaguer or two if need be.
