Table setters!

You absolutely have to love that -- Soriano and Theriot on base TEN times...outstanding!

Too bad the 3/4 hitters weren't. Jeez. These guys are paid to put runs on the board and put the bat on the ball hard.

Dempster was aces. Pitched a great game, changing speeds and keeping the free swinging Brewers off balance. Hopefully Harden can do the same. This would be a huge sweep.

I agree with Mojo -- Reed Johnson in the five spot was a great idea. Not just because he did well tonight, but because it helps roll the lineup differently. I like Fukudome in the 7 spot and would put Soto in the 8 spot. DeRosa is fine as the 6 guy because he can do a lot of things and is a decent clutch hitter. Strikes out a lot less than Soto. If Fontenot plays, bat HIM fifth...

Too bad that the Braves folded against the Cardinals. Almost as if they didn't even try to win the last couple of games.

Glad to see Sutcliffe back. He looked great, and as always did a good job.

I'm posting tonight, because who knows what tomorrow morning will bring. A flood?

As much as I love to hate Alf, he really does get hot and become a run producing machine. Theriot might just be this team's MVP. Gotta give love to Dempster and Soto as well. Milwaukee hitters swung at a LOT of bad pitches tonight, as pointed out by Sutcliffe. Ned Yost is a dipshit. Tomorrow Harden strikes out 13 in 6 innings. What a difference 3 days makes.

Theriot is the teams offensive MVP and Dempster is the pitching MVP.

We need to use this series as a springboard -- we need to run away with this division in August.

Everybody go to Milwaukee tomorrow and bring your brooms.

Still looking for a major upgrade in the next 3 hours?

Sure looks like a statement series, even though most won't think so. Really nice pitching, confident hitting, Hard to knock them.

Will the BoSox really trade Manny?
I don't care how big a pain he is, he produces.

Junior to the white Sox will look strange.

Rick Sutcliffe...what position did he play?

Am I nit-picking that we gave up 3 runs in the 9th?

Nice Sweep, lets keep it rolling. And ecstatic that we got out of Milwaukee without being eaten by Cecil's kid or the tub of goo.

And, yes, we do like our center fielder.
